I understand Hawkins complaining about that foul call because it was horrible. But he gets caught up, more often than not, “committing a foul” without altering the shot. Pick one or the other. Get out of the way or try to stop them from scoring.

Some of these calls are certainly selective as opposed to consistent.
Iowa is going to shoot 30 free throws this half.
You’re not wrong. But they’re muscling us mostly off the ball, and we’re taking out of position swipes at the ball. The former might be “more” of a foul, but the latter is always what gets called.

Why is CH so frightened to score in the paint? He'd rather pass out than look to score when he's six ft from the hoop.
