WVU vs. ISU is a great game! Edit: WVU deserved that win. Also, Huggy looks rough. Hope he is o.k.

Anyone watching Wisconsin-Penn State? What is going on with PSU bench outfits. Like how did they get to “khaki pants and green shirts with a paragraph in 8-point font across the front”?

As of today, at least for now, our win in Madison is once again a Quad 1 win! Tons of games left to go, but it's pretty crazy to think that the outcome of two teams at the bottom of the standings last night gave us an extra Quad 1 and an extra Quad 2 win when we woke up this morning, lol.

Really need to Ohio State to beat Northwestern ... couple different ways one could look at the Iowa/Purdue game, I guess, but I would imagine we want Iowa to lose so we have a better chance of emerging into a top four spot? Our loss in Iowa City will remain Quad 1 no matter what, and it'd take a miracle for us to catch Purdue. Reminder of the current standings:

1. Purdue: 11-2
2. Indiana: 8-5
2. Rutgers: 8-5
2. Michigan: 8-5
3. Illinois: 7-5
3. Northwestern: 7-5
3. Iowa: 7-5
4. Maryland: 7-6
4. Michigan State: 7-6
5. Wisconsin: 6-7
6. Penn State: 5-8
7. Nebraska: 4-10
8. Ohio State: 3-9
9. Minnesota: 1-11

Purdue and Ohio State winning tonight puts us alone in third. Assuming both happen, the standings before this weekend's games look like this:

2. Indiana: 8-5
2. Rutgers: 8-5
2. Michigan: 8-5
3. Illinois: 7-5
4. Maryland: 7-6
4. Northwestern: 7-6
4. Iowa: 7-6

7. Ohio State: 4-9
8. Nebraska: 4-10
9. Minnesota: 1-11

And a (once again) huge slate of games that could shake things up (records using the standings assume Purdue and OSU win tonight...).

Needless to say, our game against Rutgers is huge. I can't decide if I want Michigan to beat Indiana ... I will be SO mad if a 12-seed Michigan sneaks into another Sweet Sixteen while we don't, lol. Just for more fun, if Illinois, Maryland, Wisconsin, Indiana, Iowa, MSU and Purdue win above, THESE would be the standings on Monday:

1. Purdue: 13-2

In the Tennessee Vanderbilt game, with about 30 or 40 seconds left, Vandy found themselves in a position of having to foul, but they only had 2 team fouls. The game was very physical, the refs called nothing. It took them until 8.5 seconds left in the game to finally get Tennessee to the FT line. Luckily for them, that was about 0.1 seconds more than the needed.

F***n Perkins goes off for 32 against us, and gets . . . . 6 . . . tonight against PU. I guess on one hand the Squawkeyes Lise tonight, and fall behind us in the standings. On the their hand PU stays in the lead. . . with less time in the B1G schedule.

Purdue has this game. They have to have the best/loudest home crowd in the BIG based upon what I hear and see on TV. Has anyone attended one of their home games this year? Comments.
