CH got hacked on that dunk - call a foul and then there is no taunt
It looked to me like Hawkins did everything right and still got penalized for it. He made an incredible dunk through contact and had a right to be excited about it. It looked to me like he consciously turned his head away from the Indiana player when he yelled. He got a technical simply for showing emotion after an amazing play.

Hey, we are playing 6-7 today, it happens on the road. ROADKILL !!! doesn't matter, Rebound, get loose balls, and hit shots. We need a signature win going forward

Illini at 100% from the FF line and 50% from the arc, winning the rebound battle by a couple and the turnover battle by the same. Good overall stat line and should be leading....and they are. Can Mayer, Dainja, and Epps score enough to keep the lead? Would love to see Hawk score a handful of aggressive buckets in the second half.

Lot of skepticism in this fan-base but a lot of potential talent to do just that. Missed layups cost a double digit lead. My heart bleeds for RJ...we know he hurts for not helping his team but this too shall pass and I think he will be a B1G warrior once again. Now doing everything but making shots...any shot.

Appears as if the only way to beat the Hoosiers is to double TJD. Not a player around that seems able to slow him down....other than Kofi. Puts a lot of pressure on the perimeter defense but our frosh are up to it. Not sure Ty is very sick as he has played well and very active. Love that kid and he is figuring out how to score too. Goode did his job and rounding into shape.

Long second half coming as IU will ramp up its energy. Hope Mayer can add another 10 without throwing it away a couple or more times. Get DD going and maybe get TJD in some foul trouble. Nine guys played in the first half and all added positives. Go do it again!!!!

Agree.

And if it happened the other way and TJD did just what Hawkins did, the last thing I would be thinking is that should be at technical foul on IU

Going to put down my two cents on the Hawk tech. It was deserved. He is not the first guy ever to dunk a bsketball....act like it was supposed to happen, give a shrug, and go play defense!!
