Couple people have said this, which seems very strange to me. My daughter is in college right now, if she went into the hospital overnight you better believe my wife and I would go out there to see her (about a 3.5 hour drive).

My kid could go to illinois (i live in texas now) and if i heard he was in the hospital youd better believe id be there. drive fly train whatever

Yeah, my bet is a VERY unlucky collision or something - possibly in addition to an underlying factor like dehydration or something - had Jaden dizzy enough that he passed out afterwards. Scary enough if true but way better than a serious/long-term medical issue!

Here’s to hoping Jaden is feeling okay and back on the court (safely) for us soon!

Yeah… my mom drove 3.5 hours my first year in college when I just told her I wasn’t feeling well. I wouldn’t read too much into parents coming to town when their child is hospitalized for any reason. Let’s just hope for Jayden’s sake it’s not too serious.

Protocol is much different these days, which is a good thing.

concussions are taken a lot more seriously now. I'm pretty sure guys used to walk around with concussions and not even know it.
