I honestly don't understand why every goaltend isn't a reviewable play.
I agree…it isn’t like it’s gonna hold the game up. How often does it even come up? Goal-tending calls are usually pretty rare…in a game…oh, wait…

I’ve been saying it all year … Ty Rodgers is going to be a PROBLEM in this league …

He gets a jumper … He’s unstoppable … Both ends of the floor .. Elite rebounder … Elite teammate …

I had an NBA scout text me tonight and said “If the Rodgers kid had a jump shot. He’d be a lottery guy for us. We think he’s that good in all other areas.”

He is the X Factor for this team going forward IMO …
😳😳😳
A more athletic Draymond Green comp?

This guy deserves another cameo after this win!

An aggressive RJ is a hell of an asset to this team. Kudos to him and Brad both.

I was super happy seeing TJ ball out in front of his family on Senior Night - what a show they got!
And Coleman has been a warrior at the five this year. Tonight was pretty impressive even if HD got him a few times late. Michigan bigs didn't have nearly the foot speed to stay in front of him and we will get the same against Edey. I love Dain but I think CoHawk will be the better matchup Sunday if he shows the same aggression.
What a kick-!!! Thursday night.

One of the best team wins I have seen over the past 68 seasons. Not the best shooting team effort, but the overall competence, effort, and continuity was at the right end of the curve.

My only disappointment was that we have six guys who shoot free throws with a line drive and their eyes constantly moving. That has not changed all season and I was pretty confident it would cost the Illini team in this closely contested, spectacularly played game.

But, congrats to Ty for making two in a row prior to shooting a laser at the front of the rim. Otherwise, he was as spectacular as any player in this contest. Why one of our coaches does not take him aside and make him shoot a consistent higher arc is befuddling.

And I loved the play of RJ in this game...he is simply becoming the player he dreams he can be. Everyone who played was a big part of the win and I hope the level of defense only continues to climb.

And who knows, if these guys continue to play like this, which was not a hot shooting night by any means, a win at Purdue has a higher probability than at any point of the season.

Great work by a group of tough, hard working, every day, Fighting Illini guys.

So, I want someone to come up with a clip of the closeup of a Michigan player dropping the Mother of All F-Bombs.

Do I wear the orange blazer to Mackey or nah... As I was driving in to Champaign today after 400 miles of looking at corn, five Teams meetings, and a lot of podcasts , I was thinking, am I nuts?

Well, clearly, the answer is yes but also no.
This team is, somehow, improbably, becoming really dangerous at the right time. And they're finding a way to do it in spite of a level of disruption at the PG position that would wreck a lot of teams.
Ty was a revelation out there. That dude's ceiling is really really high.
I believe.

Yep, I forget which game it was not long ago, but it was for the last min or 90 seconds of a first half, he was running the point on offense, and defending the 5. Effectively. Nuts versatility
