Hmm, not sure my heart can take another "major overhaul" team next season. I hope the staff targets better shooters and smarter ballplayers. We've got good athletes, but we can't shoot and make inexplicable decisions on the court.
I assume the biggest change we will see is multi year guys vs one years that we have now

Assuming the guys we anticipate losing are gone, anything less than...maybe not major... but a significant overhaul would be a step in the wrong direction. IMO.

We will need a couple "plug-in and play" type guys.

Recruting someone who combines the skills of Stephen Curry, Larry Bird, and Rick Mount would help my heart also. :) :)

Starling cares about winning and his teammates … Potential is there …

Spears is an AWFUL teammate from what I’ve heard … Refuses to run offense or listen to coaches … And apparently scheduled a party for himself during the Big East tournament assuming they’d lose … Don’t know if that last part is 100% true but had a coach tell me that …

First two are enough to shy Brad away … Brad likes to recruit WINNERS
Maybe he and curbelo can go to the same school next. Boy, imagine trying to coach those two!

I don't think Jrs should ever take part in Sr Day under any conditions. You leave early, you forfeit that honor. The whole point of Sr Day is honoring guys that put in 4/5 years to the program starter, legend, role player, or walkon. It's not just a day to honor great players.
So you had a problem with Shannon and Mayer this year? Didn’t Kofi go through Senior Night celebration? Did you have a problem with Feliz being celebrated in Senior Night?

When Pitino goes to St. Johns, I'd very happily take Walter Clayton Jr. as our PG.

Kid had scholarship offers from Florida, Georgia, Notre Dame, Florida State and more as a QB. Decided he preferred basketball and went to Iona. You don't see that often. This year ,his Soph season, he averaged 16.9 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 3.2 apg, 1.9 spg shooting 45.6% from the field, 42.9% from 3, and 95.1% FT. Really like that FT number, he was 98-103.

Watched some video, strong player, very good athlete. Looks like more of a scorer than a true PG, but I can live with that.

Any chance of Caleb Love if he enters the portal? I remember some discussion about it last year. His insta has all North Carolina photos removed that aren't NIL related.

Well, without knowing anything about the situation except what you wrote, I would think that if he's good enough to play for us, then he'd follow Pitino.
