SDSU is physically imposing like Tennessee. But FAU just keeps coming with that four guard lineup and ball movement. Great matchup of styles
This Final Four game is bringing me down. Both of these teams are so far superior to us athletically. I see some of these FAU guards get off of the floor....very impressive.
Watching this FAU team without the big 7'1" big man, damn they remind of the late 80's Flying Illini. So athletic. Win or lose fun team to watch.

If you're going to play with four guards, all four had better be quick, athletic and multidimensional. FAU has that. They can shoot it, the can take it off the bounce, they finish at the rim and they all rebound. Haven't seen enough of them to know about their depth however.
FAU is the closest to the 2005 Illini I’ve seen in terms of playing style. It’s really the best way to play. We should just build every team like this with 4 guys who move the ball and shoot and one big who does the dirty work.
Not sure about this whole casual Friday thing these coaches have going on. If I were coaching in the Final Four I’d wear a damn tux.

Both these teams chirping quite a bit. I don't think SDSU is going to allow FAU to run away with this without turning it into a rock fight if they have to.

It was the slow evolution from "purple nurple" to "they shot my dog and stole my truck" levels of pain that really sold it.
Exactly my impression as well as three point shots that are executed, not heaved out of despair.
Neither one of these teams looks like a fluke.
FAU might have just taken SDSUs best shot. They just play fearless, and why not at this point just win the whole thing?
This looks like a different sport compared to what we had to watch this year. Incredibly entertaining style of ball.
