Kinda wild to say you didn't want Epps back. I understand that we can still attract a high level talent and potentially upgrade for next season at the spot, but long term view, Epps undoubtedly is a big loos.

He'd be the top market value available in the portal, I don't see how that ends at Illinois.
If there's a number that keeps him at UCLA they'd be insane not to pay up, too. I suspect the NBA Draft will lighten their payroll this offseason.
I mean I can’t really expand as to why he left … Private internal matter like I’ve said many times …
As for why i soured on Epps … Not being coachable was my number 1 reason … Also the NIL $$ ask …. A little steep for the production he was giving …

I would be shocked if we somehow pulled off Campbell, but obviously thrilled. Seems like the staff is all in on the portal and new "free agent" model of college basketball. It may be tough for fans to get onboard, but I think it is just the new reality and we need to adjust our mindset. Name on the front of the jersey is what matters to me most. It certainly makes me wear out my F5 key during what would otherwise be me dwelling in disappointment that the season is over.
TA also after the Justin Harmon kid from Curie … He was out at Utah Valley State I think ??
