Sounds like Dennis will return to Toledo if/when he pulls out of the NBA draft.
RayJ Dennis returns to Toledo but Tyger Cambpell leaves Westwood for Champaign.

Believe what you want to believe. And maybe Dennis transfers when all is said and done. But Piper and Werner discussed transfer options. Piper straight-up said the Toledo coach firmly believes Dennis will return to Toledo if he doesn't stay in the draft.

A little disappointed to hear we're going after a player that didn't make 1st or 2nd team All-WAC COVID eligible scoring Guard that is 32.9 % from three, with more turnovers than assists in Division 1. I know we're hurting for guards that can create but that's really underwhelming. The plus is he ended the season on a high-note and played well in the Conference Tournament and NIT. But I hope the intent is just for him to be a Bench guy (in which case, not sure why he'd come for his last year of college to not start).

That can't be right. His bio says he played two seasons at a Juco before UVU.

He was the HS class of 2019, there's no way he has 3 years to play. He'll be collecting Social Security by then.
yeah and even if those were Freshman and Sophomore seasons, he'd be at 2 years of eligibility because 2020-21 is the season that didn't count. The guys who started in 2021-22 only get 4 years of eligibility.

There's only 200 minutes of playing time to go around each game. If he's a guy willing to come off the bench for 10-15 a game, he's not a bad take.

Well and to look over the horizon a little, if this winter Harmon is taking minutes away from DGL, what exactly is the message to DGL given that Harmons will always be available?

Brad's not keen on taking a step back next year, has schollies to play with, and this is the most bountiful transfer buffet there's ever been. I get all that.

But there's a lot of development we should have hope and expectation for next year and we are flat-out not creating that environment if we bring in 3-4 veterans especially to the extent they don't perfectly fit the missing spots on the roster (true PG and true C)

Dunno what would be a good fit for Melendez. His 2022-23 season was... not good, and his 2021-22 season to fall back on was really small sample size (only 187 minutes). He'll be a True Junior that will still have to compete with these COVID eligible guys two years ahead of him, and he only has two years left due to when he started, so he really can't afford to "miss" on this one.

Safest bet for him is to transfer down a level to a 1-bid league, but I dunno what he's thinking...
