"Ty" rhymes with "fry", and Querrier is French.....so the logically the next topic of discussion?

THE FRENCH FRY!

When served fresh out of the vat, Steak n Shake fries have always been my favorite, bar none!

Editor’s note: SnS fries are not so great when they’ve been sitting under the warmer too long. Even a ten minute drive home can greatly reduce their immediate crispness.

For real. Ty obviously has growing to do to be an all-NBA player. But their Freshman stats are pretty darn similar (keeping in mind that Dray played on a much better team his frosh year).

We need a commitment to distract us, we all have too much time to think.
NCAA Shot Chart

This is a very cool website. Don't know how accurate it is, but it looks reasonable. By this site it shows Rodgers made 0 shots outside of the paint, 0. He only took 4 shots outside of the paint, and 0 from 3. Even shows he's not great in the paint from the left side.

While you look at the stats above and see some similarities, Green was already a better shooter as a Fr, but Green also improved every year to the point by his Sr year he was shooting 39% from 3. Rodgers will need to show a much improved shot and continue improving to ever reach those heights. He has everything else, but you need to be able to shoot or defenses will just sag on you and keep you out of the paint.

We will learn a lot more about Rodgers next year when he's getting 25+ mpg. Did he put in the work to at least be a threat to shoot. But ultimately it will take continued improvement to make him an NBA player. Everyone in the NBA is big and athletic. You've got to be able to shoot.

Using those charts, and looking at our new players, Domask is definitely a baseline bomber: 90% from 3 on the left baseline, 44.4% from the right baseline, too bad he shot 81% of his 3s from the wings and top of the key. RayJ is pretty decent all over, but looks like he drives better to his left (is he a lefty?). Harmon looks like he has a good midrange game, and also better from deep on the baselines. Pretty interesting site.

So, Certa to ND, or not? Someone seemed pretty sure of his impending commitment yesterday, or last night. Just need to put the posters name in the "BCC Insider" tab on my Insiders spreadsheet, with a blue check mark as confirmed.

In-N-Out has the undeniably worst fries. And if your response is "yeah, but you have to dip them in the milkshake," then what you're telling me is their milkshakes are good and you've missed the point.
Alternatively, you can ask to have them made extra crispy, which is...I dunno, do you have a lot of faith in a restaurant if you have to explicitly tell them 'make the food good' when you order?

Gimme a good crinkle cut, crispy and salty, any day of the week.

And it's the most illogical thing...maybe in history. You literally watch them put a fresh potato in a slicer machine....put them in a basket..and fry them fresh.

And they are so meh.

All of this about Ty....he's going to be an unbelievable player for us. Glue guy. Sergio was that guy for us on great teams.

My bigger concern, do we have a portal PG yet? It was going to be a day in April, then in a week, then by the first week in May, gifs flying around, now, comments made about him taking more offers, but we're not worried.

This is obviously not a done deal by any stretch, which is totally expected when there's money involved.

Absolutely. I WANT to like them. They SHOULD be good. They just aren't.

Now I really want a burger and fries.

Maybe my finest fast food hack ever....because fresh McDonalds fries cannot be equaled....but their burgers are not-so-fresh hot garbage....the Steak N' Shake was directly across the street from McD's in the D'Ville and the only decent fast food burger option so I'd get a S'NShake burger, then go across the street and order Mc'D's fries NO SALT. They will put a fresh basket of fries in just for you and not salt them. I'll wait a few minutes for that new hotness.

Salt them yourself and POW! Lunch.

Admittedly… It’s possible I’ve been reminiscing about a day long since passed where Steak n Shake, as a whole, didn’t suck.
I moved to a part of the country without Steak n Shake and was really missing it. I went back a few years ago when I was back in the Midwest and good God, what did they do to that place? It's totally different and a shell of its former self.
