Ok, but where does Bryce Hopkins fit into this scenario?

Yeah, I know we are looking for established players, but I think he is ready to take that leap. While instantly, Dennis is probably slightly better, I think I would take Boswell just knowing local status, long-term perspective, etc...
I'm not even betting on getting RayJ and if we do I'm not betting on his performance.

But objectively looking at the situation, he's going to be much better, not slightly better than Boswell in the coming season.

Our success in the coming year is probably predicated on a PG coming in who's a step or two ahead of Boswell. Of course both Dennis and Boswell could prove me wrong this year. Like I said, I'm done betting on progress that players make and adjustments they make to new environments.

Why wouldn't a guy like him just go put up insane numbers at some lower tiered school? He has plenty of tape playing against top tier competition. Feels like doing a "Santa Clara" type move be a smart move for a lot of these guys.

So we can have one more opportunity to beat him once march hits. LOL With more than 3 games played, will Baby Brad be the only all american to never beat the Illini?
