No one fumbles on highlight video - no one misses on highlight video. Still, she shot 3 pointers, she used her left hand when she spun that way. Her footwork was much better than either Taponen or Ndour. She caught balls from over her shoulder after creating space, which is not as easy as it looks. With D1 conditioning and coaching she should be a real contributor.

I agree wholeheartedly. Her footwork is excellent…nothing flashy. She just gets position and gets it done. I like the drop steps, and fade-aways, and up and under(s). The only nit-picky thing was I thought she brought the ball down too much. She’ll have to not do that as much at this level of course.
Man, I’m very enthused by what she brings.
I know Coach G. left. But, like you said…if the staff can condition and coach her up like they did Bostic…we might really have something there.

She hit 3-balls? Gonna have to watch again I guess.

Yes, she did, she shot with good form on her shot. Gathered herself established her base and shot nice jumper after jumper. As a previous posted has stated it is a highlight film but damn those are some good highlights.

This is the most talented, deepest team we have had in decades. Last year we were not as deep and we got tired like against both Maryland and OSU. We will not have that problem this year. We are a Sweet 16 contender if not better. Green is the best coach we have had since TG. Put all that together and more fans showing up to games and success is right around the corner.

Most definitely

Sweet 16 contender? If all things work out perfectly than yes.

A significant injury to Bostic/Hobby/Shoup-Hill and we are back to where we were last season in the post. Going to need the recruits, Jackson, Bollin, etc to develop. If that happens and we stay healthy I think we could be dangerous. McKenzie was a bulldog last season at 5'10. Played the wing but had to play the 4 at times. Bollin hopefully can contribute in that spot at 6'3.

100%

She has the potential to make this program what she wants and something special. Coach/character factored in I think she could be the best women's coach sooner rather than later.

Who will coach the bigs now? One thing that I like about all of the new girls coming in is that they have some heft to them. We'll be able to push back this year.

I like the 3 pointer and free throw line jumper. If our WBB bigs can play Euro ball that will open up the lane for our guards to drive to the hoop.

In the Final Four Iowa did not have the size to match LSU and South Carolina inside. WBB centers have gone from 6'2" to 6'6" in last 10 years. I like us getting a 6'5" center. Hopefully more to come.

Don't know what it means, but the roster is 🔒.
From what I know there are 14 / 15 spots filled, so there may be a may surprise or qe we are running the mbb strategy of keeping a spot open..
Time for K Fletch to put in work.
What about the two players who may be transferring? Do we know anything more?

If they have not yet entered the portal it is now too late. Deadline was April 30.

Edit: Sorry, were you asking about Oden and Taponen? They are going to Penn St. And Akron respectively.
