How fast can a program jump on the women's side? I'm obviously blown away by the progress over the past twelve months, and while I would normally expect to pump the brakes by now, the BA hire and recent transfer has me thinking the movement is accelerating, not slowing down. Can they be sweet 16 and final Four bound over the next couple of seasons, if everything goes right?

I certainly think its possible, but I dont want to set the bar so high we are disappointed in another tourney bid and a top 25 ranking. We will be one of the hunted teams starting next year and the B10 will be loaded again. Just keep getting better and I will be more than happy!

We caught some teams by surprise last year. That won’t happen again. Having said that, getting the attention of good teams also means we have the attention of good potential recruits. Green does not strike me as someone who will be satisfied with last year’s level of accomplishment and is capable of upping the Illini’s game. It already appears she is raising the level of the players she is recruiting.

Duke was loaded with four and five year players this year so she didn't see a lot of tic as a freshman there.

Assuming no one else leaves, there is one additional scholarship available. It will be interesting to see if Green fills the scholarship or leaves it vacant.

We have a ton of talent coming back....same time we have a lot of developing/practices to hit hard

Camille Jackson and Shay Bollin are top 100 recruits who didn't play much first year in college....can either/both take the next step up in the program? Same with recruits Gretchen Dolan and Cori Allen. Will they get immediate playing time or take a year to develop to the speed of the game? Rhodes and Dewey develop and get more playing time? (more just random thoughts I have than wanting answers)

This team definitely looks like it has more talent and more depth than last years team. Feel like for us to be a special team some of those players who haven't proven it yet will have to step up. Last season we had a cupcake schedule and injury bug didn't hit until late in the season. I was beyond excited for last season and here is to hoping next season be even better
