If they have not yet entered the portal it is now too late. Deadline was April 30.

Edit: Sorry, were you asking about Oden and Taponen? They are going to Penn St. And Akron respectively.
Thanks, didn't realize it was too late.

Shauna certainly seems to be in contention for being the 2nd best Illini coach when it comes to recruiting..........with Mike Small being #1, of course. Way to go coach!

And our AD sure is showing his hiring chops these days.

If they can Land Aayilah Geyton What a great foundation! Big Center, high-powered wing and a terrific lead guard! Sterling replacements for next year's graduates/ departures. We will give the Big Ten a run for their money...and national prominence too!

I wonder if Coach Green has moved on from the Illinois guards she was recruiting before last season’s success.

@illiniMBB has their work cut out.

That is what life has dealt them.

A great and fun competition.

College wide there was a moderate increase in attendance and tv viewership. Many are now saying NCAA undersold the rights, many not sure what caused the sizeable bump this year.

I would say the games I saw this year were much more entertaining from years past. Big difference was the ladies can shoot the ball.

(1) Kim Mulkey and LSU’s sucesss

(2) Caitlin Clark
With the small sample size of those on my old HS friends text chain, it was all Clark. Those guys typically watch at most part of 1 game (and that might be over estimating things). I think all of them watched at least one Clark game and several watched more than 1. I’d guess maybe 1 watched the finals. And they could care less about Mulkey other than maybe a comment or two like, “whose the coach who wears crazy clothes.”

Totally agree - it was 100% Caitlyn Clark. Even though I live in SC I have little interest in Women's hoops. Most of my friends are the same. Caitlyn Clark however was must see TV; the only comparison I can think of when it comes to getting casual fans interested in the sport is Magic/Bird back in '79.
