Edey is Canadian. Don't think he can make NIL.He is likely too slow to ever have much of a role in NBA. Might as well stay and make a few million.
I believe he was born with clubfoot- most people with that condition do not play sports at all, let alone reach an elite level of athletic competitionView attachment 25636
Random question. Does rayj’s right leg look noticeably smaller than his left leg? Or is it just a bad angle?
Correct. It’s quite the story of overcoming obstacles.I believe he was born with clubfoot- most people with that condition do not play sports at all, let alone reach an elite level of athletic competition
Purdue will have anyone shooting for a law degree working on that scenarioA friend close to program said his degree is top priority and NIL pretty much a non issue with the family (also something with Edey's Canadian heritage that may make him subject to different treatment?)
Could he work on his right hand, sure, but how many players have we ever had or have you seen in college basketball that had nothing to work on. I know, I know…your son DGL will be that player. So just imagine what his numbers would have looked like if he remembered that he had a right hand???
100%. Damone wouldn’t even take himself over Frank. Not only that, the guy gave everything he had for this team. His hustle was off the charts.
Also, Da'Monte was great, but anyone that would take him over his dad has never seen his dad play. Or possibly has a really bad memory.

They're all average to above average 3 pt shooters.Great data, our transfers aren't very good 3 point shooters, but shoot above average from the corner 3s. Domask and Guerrier and very solid in the paint. RayJ would be a solid upgrade, he has above average from every spot on the court. Our weakeness will continue to be routine 3s, unless players coming back all improve. Dainja needs to play more, very efficient down low. Coleman was effective down low as well, he just wasn't aggressive enough to take those shots.
Good points. When you look at the scoring from last year, losing that team-leading 17+ ppg is very painful and hard to replace. Absolutely a baller. Are we honestly spending time picking apart the perceived weaknesses of TSJ who was our best player night in and night out, took a beating to get to the line more than any Illinois player in years, and was our only reliable scorer?
My only complaint about him is he is too nice a kid and should have demanded the ball more. Kid is a baller.
FIFM100%. Damonte wouldn’t even take himself over Frank.

Let’s figure 2 years and be happy with 1 year...the 20-21 year was the year that didn’t count as there was no fans
the 19-20 year was the year with no tournament
but that year counted
Okay, I believe in our Insiders and that they via staff are supremely confident in RayJ. So I will be too.
I still have a question though. If I read Indy correctly, Self & KU got burned and actually creaned somebody for a player who ended up not going there. What do you do if Muck or another school offers a BIGGER BAG? This is the wild west now. You can't complain to the NCAA, there really aren't really any rules anymore. I realize promises have been made, but these are still kids with hangers on and the BIGGEST BAG is usually going to win. Do we have unlimited NIL $$$?
My first thought on this was it was perfunctory. But with NIL maybe the "experience " of the campus is a minor factor now.RayJ’s visits feel like speed dating.
"There also doesn't appear to be a real backup plan should Illinois' top point guard priority wind up in Bloomington, Ind., Waco, Texas, or some other corner of the college basketball world instead."
