He might have earned playing time if he had stayed. He didn't want to take that risk and made the decision to transfer down, where there was less competition. So we'll never know.

There were 2 issues with the post- it was posted in the wrong thread (for better or for worse this is the podz news thread, has been for a while), & the post lacked the source link. If the link was included I would have simply moved the post here simple as that.
