I played against Doug Collins in HS and he was a shrimp as a freshman at around 5'8" and weighing @ 120 lbs........But that dude sure could shoot the basketball...............

The latest MJ myth to be dispelled was the one that saw young Michael done an injustice by his high school coach who "cut" the future Hall of Famer while he was a sophomore at Laney High School.
Well, it turns out, Jordan was never really cut from the team. He was placed on Junior Varsity to develop more.
In a interview with Sports Illustrated, Clifton Herring gives a very sensible and logical basketball-based explanation for his actions, and I dare you to disagree. The article states:

Ron Glass played his character Preacher so great........A special hell is one of my fav episodes,,,,It helps that Christina Hendricks
made a 2 episode guest appearance.........Ooh La La, she is a babe.....................
Not only that, but if I recall correctly, they aired the episodes on almost random nights and times due to the World Series and they didn't air the episodes in the correct order including the pilot, so people who were psyched to watch the premiere (like myself) actually saw the second episode first, so the characters weren't quite introduced properly. Fox completely screwed the pooch on this series- it would've lasted at least 5 seasons if it was launched correctly. Great show.A fantastic question.

Yeah I was pretty sure they were aired out of order, not just the first two, but later down the line as well, but wasn't positive. It was a total cluster of a launch of a show that would have been amazing.
I still love his ceiling. In our day and age kids just don't stay for 3 or 4 years very much...but I really do hope he stays committed and puts in the work because I think he has a great foundation to be a pretty good player in 2 or 3 years, maybe sooner.

Yep , I was confused at times as far as the structure of episodes in a mannerly progression..........Also , at times it had Ron Glass doing the opening promo instead of Mr. Fillion.....................Still , all in all it would have been a winner if done better by Fox and lasted quite a few seasons......jmho

I'm not sure if I was Coach Brad that I wouldn't hold a grudge against Ray J after all this angst. I guess that's just part of the new era but damn, this is crazy. I suppose their dealing with agents but I would be fed up.
Well, the good news is, May 31ST at 11:59 pm eastern time we will know our answers.

Yea, I was gonna add the caveat that Brad is probably orchestrating all this but I got distracted and didn't finish my thoughts. I've been following recruiting for 35 years. I don't get stressed over it anymore like I use too. Especially with Brad in charge.
