Looks like I missed a happenin’ day on here…

How the PG conundrum has been handled this offseason is, as I’ve said before, an absolute failure.
Unfortunately, the problem goes beyond this offseason. The PG we should've had last year will be sitting in the green room on draft night while the guy we traded him for suits up for Lville after bailing on us mid season. If we try Ty at PG I pray it works out but I am not confident at all in that and think it will end in tradegy and be an embarrassing look for our program. Would get eaten alive during Braggin Rights.

How the PG conundrum has been handled this offseason is, as I’ve said before, an absolute failure. It is nearly impossible to fathom how BU and co. didn’t do everything in their power to bring in a stud PG after whatever the hell last season was, especially considering the $ and resources they have at their disposal. Not only did they not do that, but they didn’t bring in a capable/eligible PG for this season-period.

Once Kriisa is officially available, going to be hard to stomach yet another extremely capable PG end up somewhere else. Brad is scarred by last year’s debacle, but at this point the positives Kriisa would bring farrrrr outweigh any “negatives”-in the eyes of just about everyone but the boss. But what do we know I suppose.

I am as big of a Ty fan as much as the next guy on here, but the fact that he is going to be the PG of this team is utterly inexcusable.

Is this team more experienced and deeper than last year’s team (on paper)? Sure. But do I foresee much of a different outcome next March? I do not.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over yadda yadda…

Hate to bring down the vibes but that’s just how I see it. Rant over. Gotta go grab the headband out of the wash-in case it’s needed for spot minutes at the 1 this winter.
Do you still have eligibility???

You have been gushing about Sean MIller since March, I think we get the point of who you want here.

I want Brad to want to be here and I want Brad to succeed … I think Brad has made it clear where he stands on the first issue and the second issue he hasn’t set himself up well for … Those are just the facts …

And do I know Sean really well ? Yup … I also know Josh loves Sean … And Josh hates having to tell boosters Brad 💩 the bed on this RayJ thing despite all of their efforts while Sean has like 3 PGs who are all better than any PG we’ve got …

Oh wait … We STILL don’t have one … And that’s on Brad … Absolute failure … Unacceptable …

It takes a lot of skill to evaluate a basketball player without watching him pay basketball. LOL.
What i can't figure out is how we had one and they saw him play often but he rarely ever played and just a year later
He is going in the first round in a couple days. I hope we can evaluate more effectively in games, offer, and keep the best players going forward. I for one wish we would go after Kriisa.

The school hasn’t announced anything for a reason …
I assume we have scholarship agreements signed with most of the players - all that are on campus at least. So Williams does seem the likely sacrificial lamb if BU wants to offer someone else. If we do go that direction I hope and expect that the "reason" will be a good one. Otherwise, not a good look.

If we could remove ourselves from our personal investment in it, there is something objectively hilarious about a coach somehow neglecting to recruit a competent player for the most critical position on the court and then just rolling into a new season like that. It would be like if Bielema somehow forgot to roster a quarterback and then was like “it’s fine, this Johnny Newton guy is pretty athletic, we’ll just have him throw the football.”

So does he want to be here?

can you elaborate on your point that "he hasn't set himself up well for.." What do you mean?

Can you blame he/she/it/they/them/50 million pronouns? I'm not an insider, nor anything close to one, but the insiders here are providing "some" of the information they know/hear with us. It's obvious the chemistry issues won't be nearly as severe this coming year. There's still almost 5 months to figure out the PG situation. Based on what the main insiders have said, Ty could be a solid option. BU has done nothing but improve this team since he took over. Post season success be damned, he revived a program that had been basically dead for 10 years. I have a strong feeling that all of this coach change talk will be irrelevant after this upcoming season.

No one will remember this "not good look" crap. All they will remember are the players who played and wins/losses.

You can spin it and assist the player towards another school.

A bad look is not having a PG, crapping the bed and losing to FAU and Northwestern.

Maybe unacceptable, but maybe understandable. Who knows what BU was told by RayJ camp. Getting stood up at the alter sucks - IDKWTI, Cliff, etc. BU has always seemed to have a plan B in the past. But when your guy doesn't go into the portal until the end, and then stands you up, Plan B is limited. Difficult to get a good transfer PG to come in earlier when they know you are going to be recruiting over them. Maybe that is a sign in the future - the reason someone waits is to be able to market themselves to desperate schools - maybe BU should have avoided him for that reason. Live and learn.
If nothing changes, we will definitely have a chance to find out how good of a coach BU really is.
