Not sure I am a huge fan of this. Too good to play for us, but ok to work for us?

If that is your standard than you probably do not like BB either. Life goes on. Do not burn your bridges, because you might need to cross them again. I am sure the UI in both men have two great quality representatives. In fact BB is willing to hire men who can help this program i.e. the former Wisconsin coach and now the recruiting assistant. Expanding a recruiting base is not a bad idea at all.

It's like one of those movies where in order to catch the master criminal the feds need to go get the guy who has been rotting in prison for 30 years because he knows how to think like a master criminal.

If we want to cure ABI, we need someone who understands it from the inside.

Uniform does look good, but I ask why the player is in the most unnatural football position I've ever seen? Is he competing in a dunk contest in full football pads? I get that stylistically it looks cool, but it looks like someone copy/pasted a basketball design and used it for a football poster.
Between the legs dunk is the “cool” touchdown celebration.

Don’t get me wrong, I understand. My wife would agree with you, that I am not always rationale. 😂 I guess I am a little butt hurt he chose ND over us, especially based on legacy. I would be able to swallow this a lot better if it happened 5 years down the road as opposed to immediately after his eligibility is complete.

ABI is Demolition Man? Does that make ABI, Wesley Snipes?

This season goes how Luke Altmyer throws.

Gotta assume the defense will take a small step back with the uncertainty in the secondary. But the d-line should improve with the law firm back. So we’re still going to have a “good” defense.

I have confidence in McCray and Love to move the rock. Just need good QB play.
QB play is a lot lower on my list of concerns going into the season, below things like:

Secondary outside of Taz
Right side of OL
Inside LB
TE depth

I don't know enough to comment on the first 3 items (i.e. you could be spot on), but if TE depth is ever more important than (or even remotely close to as important as) the play of the starting QB, it will be the first time in the history of college football.

I think if you think of it in the context of "Hey TE play was kind of not there last year too" it makes sense to me. We have precedent for a QB coming in and picking up the Lunney system pretty decently in year one.

I can't even remember the last time a TE was a big part of the offense in the passing game. Blocking wise I thought our TE's were pretty solid.
