The challenge is to maintain during the season. Even at the HS level it’s difficult. I can’t imagine how difficult it is as p2 football coach.

Fwiw I thought Bret looked good in his recent presser for camp. Though I also suppose being a HC for most of your life training camp is when your blood starts to get really flowing if you're part of a FB program.

This season goes how Luke Altmyer throws.
Gotta assume the defense will take a small step back with the uncertainty in the secondary. But the d-line should improve with the law firm back. So we’re still going to have a “good” defense.
I have confidence in McCray and Love to move the rock. Just need good QB play.
Not saying anything about Altmyer, because I'm just in general cautiously optimistic.
But as far as the QB's behind him, I feel a lot better in the event that something doesn't work... Leary and Michaux are in year 2 of learning the system and Paddock has a lot of game experience. Feel a lot better about out QB room than I have in a while... including last year because while DeVito was a surprise nothing else worked.

uni looks great
Uniform does look good, but I ask why the player is in the most unnatural football position I've ever seen? Is he competing in a dunk contest in full football pads? I get that stylistically it looks cool, but it looks like someone copy/pasted a basketball design and used it for a football poster.

So… was that original “Microsoft Paint” poster not supposed to be released… or did someone in the graphic design department realize they made a HUGE mistake?

I took it to be subliminal positive thinking, because most of the time that pose represents a part of a post-TD crossbar dunk.
And I hope every copy of that old poster was burned in hard copy and deleted in electronic form. Hideous.
