Refs suck? Sure. It's the Big Ten. What do you expect.
But I did not expect a poorly prepared team.
Lunney and Henry not putting their squads in a position to succeed.

Example: Lunney not utilizing an effective Altmeyer on critical short yardage situations is absurd.
Well said. I have to admit we have been real late getting the Defense calls in and players have been confused. Henry is not doing his job. Hope this is just a first game problem, I fear he is in over his head this year. We had a great first series on offense, Lunney had that one set up, worked on and it went well. Since then he is not able to over come mistakes, he had a QB last year that saved him, has one this year that so far looks as good or better. Yet that 3rd and 4th down call was just down right awful. Everyone knows the QB was our hot hand, he had to have one shot when they had 8 in the box.

Coach needs to go bobby knight on them at halftime

Not advocating a coaching change at all.

But the preparedness and balls that Prime Time did for Colorado today as opposed to the "preparedness" of Bert's program. Night and Day. Here is an inexperienced coach from an HBCU that goes all out, balls out. Meanwhile, we have an experienced P5 coach and staff with NFL experience coaching to not to lose.
Coach your team to win. Don't hold back. Quit coaching with a tight sphincter. Go all out. Raise the intensity, and play smart and not careless.

Toledo with the ball to start the half. We need and 3 and out. If they drive the field and score a TD it will be a very bad night.
