That’s only one half of the first game but wow was that bleak. That was 30 minutes of a three-win team we just witnessed.

On the very first defensive play of the game I said that they all looked confused. Like they’ve never practiced before and it hasn’t gotten any better since.

Well, not much positive to say about that half. Pretty simple now, if UT comes out of half and drives the ball down the field expect attendance and any “so called” momentum from last year to be totally gone. If they come out and actually play defense in the second half all is not lost yet, but the first series of the second half is really really important.

Lunney's in game play calling last year and in the first half has been horrible. The first series this year and after the byes last year were all very creative. Then, nothing. He needs to step it up or step aside.

They’re game plan is to key on the run and make the new quarterback beat you against your strength which is the secondary. They are stacking the box it’s just that Lunney is not paying attention
