hope so on Fears, but not holding my breath. am very confident we have a very good package for him and we offer a VVG hoops situation too. thing is, I can see us being bigfoot-ed by am even bigger program. I really don't see proximity to home being important.

3-4 transfers sounds like a lot as well though we will have holes to fill. Will be interesting to see what role they play. Also means 1-2 will be transferring out.

Based on the tea leaves it sounded like Mikey's camp wasn't all that sold on Illinois, not the other way around. Doesn't appear that Butler was recruited over him based on what the insiders were saying.

well, I hadn't been paying attention. Lewis being out is news to me, if that's actually more than gossip. less than a month ago he was on the "Brad thinks he can get all four" list.

Illinois wants Fears in ‘24 and Fears wants to reclass so. There ya have it

Brad thinks a lot of things …

I think Butler, Fears, Morez is a solid class … Not great, but solid … We like to spend $$$ in the portal … Limits what we spend on HS kids …

I do not understand why IU is absolutely dominating us in recruiting but that’s a whole different conversation …

Regardless that they play different backcourt positions, getting Fears is massively more important than getting Lewis. emphasis on massively.

You have to be careful about potential chemistry issues. People from Saline have been known to be salty.
