It should tell everyone how silly this is that these podcast guys spent ANY time at all on a "3 star" recruit. Of course their take is the take.
What other take could anyone have based on available info? Offer list meh. Tape meh. Okay fine.
Coaches look at a kid and see something....progress is being made over the summer.
I have absolutely zero problem with a guy like this. Zero.

Welcome aboard Jase. Now go kill it.
And those guys LIVE for Illinois clicks

Or the reverse. Bill Self went to see Andre Igodala and he had a bad game so we did not offer.
The story I remember was Iguadala wanted out of Illinois. He committed to Arkansas but asked out when Nolan Richardson left. He literally said he was leaving the state. I’d give you the link, but I’m technologically inept.

Played with Morez at St Rita. Looks like he's got good size and athleticism for a guard and will continue to fill out his frame.

Is he a take though assuming Fears and Gill come? Seems like there would be a lot of guards come 2025. Would really like to see them heavily involved in the some wings.
6'4",6'5" is close to a wing though...

I looked and couldn't find anything. The only real quote I found was: "They (KS, AK) were the only school talking about me running the 1-3 (point guard-small forward) and other schools were just saying that they wanted me to just play the 3."

If Andre joined the IL 2002 class, I'm not sure the team gets better. Who does he replace? Sharpshooter Luther in exchange for a better passer? Passing wasn't exactly an issue. We go to a single PG and one of Dee/Deron sits? Andre as the 7th man?

We had the team to win and didn't really need anyone else...we just had a mediocre game and had some iffy calls...life is hard sometimes...

Wonder if Sencire will end up playing a wing. Certainly has enough size and athleticism. Don’t think his shooting is as bad as people assume but we will get a better idea this year. Just a fan and want to see him on the court.

6. Four-Star PF Morez Johnson (Illinois)

It is hard not to notice the toughness and the competitiveness that Morez Johnson is playing with. Throughout the drills portion, he shows off the explosion and the vertical pop at the rim. During the games, he is collecting seemingly every rebound in sight.

There is a toughness factor that comes with rebounding. A see it and go get it, no matter who else is there factor. Johnson is getting the ball in and out of his area during each phase of the minicamp. Offensively, Johnson has continued to play a high percentage game. He knows what his strengths are and does not do what he cannot. There is a ferocity to his game, making winning plays.

You know what they say, "board man gets paid."

I don't believe it sat well with him we were all in on Mcbride who was one class behind him.
Rich Mcbrude also was a top 5 rated recruit and then ended around top 35. Andre was a late bloomer was ranked around 75-100 before shooting up during his senior year.

Self did visit Iggy during a practice abd took a chair ti watch Iggy do drills. He made it obvious he wasn't leaving without a commitment. Heard he wanted to go away and also heard he was done playing with Rich....not sure that is correct.
