In his postgame press conference, Luke Fickell provided an update on the Badger gunslinger.
“It doesn’t look good for a little while. He couldn’t grip the ball,” said Fickell when asked about the injury. We will see if there is a clearer update later in the week.

The table is set for a win, I'll take 4-4 at this point.
Their backup looked horrific. Not going to get too excited after the MSU game last year with all their suspensions, but this game looks vastly different than it did a week ago!

Not just any game. Maryland looked like a matchup nightmare, especially after the previous two weeks - not to mention it being a road game, on their homecoming.
Many were expecting a blowout, and honestly that was a fair expectation. Going in there and gutting out this particular W goes a long way in changing mindsets.
Now to see if they can build on this. I'm hopeful, and that feels lightyears better than how I felt after the Nebby game.
