Both the Illini and EIU are on bye. NIU is not playing today as this coming week will be the start of mid-week #MACtion. The Huskies are at Central Michigan on Tuesday at 6:00 PM with the game airing on ESPNU.

The mild cats are showing off.
But those types of teams almost always find a way to lose the game.
That may be true. But they are not automatic wins if we don’t show up

5th straight week that AP #10 team loses?
And let's not rule out KU.
Md. Looks terrible and slow. There are probably more in attendance at some high school games than at NW.
And yet here comes the explosive Md offense scoring to pull them within one score.
I believe that anyone that penciled in Indiana and N.W. as automatic wins (that includes me), forget it. We are going to have to really play well to beat Indiana. Especially if they win today. They are fighting for a bowl too. I like their offense and their defensive line has impressed. As far as Georgia goes, they are still champions until someone beats them. I don't think it's going to be Florida.
Everybody out there with beach houses, don't bet em on Illinois winning out. teams were gonna play are all improving.
We have a real possibility that Northwestern goes to a bowl game and we don't.
Northwestern has a better record than us. If that's not bye week motivation, I don't know what is.
