There is way more confidence in this team behind the scenes than there was last year. While he has had similar coach speak, I’ve also never heard him speak so poorly of a former team.
See post #84 above. So anyone have a scouting report on Kansas? Key players — both returners and newcomer — to keep an eye on?
Yeah RJ getting portaled over affected his confidence it seemed. There is way more confidence in this team behind the scenes than there was last year.
If that affected his confidence then his confidence wasn't that good to begin with. I like RJ, but (to be trite) - If you want to be the man, you have to be the man. He only got portaled over because he allowed himself to be.Yeah RJ getting portaled over affected his confidence it seemed.
I do know they have no transfers in of any note.
Cut to: Hunter being ejected from the arena after going crazy from being psyched out.I think we should fly Kofi in from Korea for the weekend. Suit him up, then let him participate in pre-game warmups. Just to psych Hunter Dick out.
So wait… we’ve been living rent free in HIS head for years???
I just bought some, I held off since I have season tickets for bball and football and I thought my wife might throw something at me if I brought it up lol.It is disappointing to me that there are still several thousand $40 tickets available for this game.
Are you going? It is disappointing to me that there are still several thousand $40 tickets available for this game.
Add Iowa and Indiana to the sold out list! Our basketball fan base is a great illustration of what our football fan base could be ... in other words, wins over several years (especially decades) just simply creates a larger pool of people who are willing to fill the seats if and when you have a good team! This is the perfect game to prepare us for our big non conf games. Win or lose (not a huge deal either way), we will play likely the best team in the country in an exhibition game.
Another note,
Marquette game is sold out. Going to be an amazing atmosphere
It is hard to even say RJ got portaled over. He was a starter at the beginning of the year, and then just didn't perform. If that affected his confidence then his confidence wasn't that good to begin with. Looks to me like Hunter was the one doing the ejecting.Cut to: Hunter being ejected from the arena after going crazy from being psyched out.
How many points did CH need to score?I really like the new additions to the team but even though we clobbered Ottawa in the exhibition i did see some of the things that were a problem last year like Coleman NOT scoring enough, very young backcourt..I think having agiant point guard is great, but he HAS to hit those free throws..... Leadership is going to be needed and im just not sure.If those things are addressed having 2 legitimate NBA prospects and a gang of talent then we should be in the running for This regular season title.. Please get Kansas on Sunday..Lets get their ranking changed before the season...lol

Fun fact: Ron Guenther earns a pension of about $500,000 per year.We were Thad Motta’s dream job, but Guenther refused to even interview him to replace Self.
If this was a real game it would have been sold out in seconds. I’m not too worried about it.We’re a couple days out from having the pre-season #1 team coached by one of our own former coaches playing in our arena, and there are thousands of unsold tickets left. I’m really concerned about what the attendance is going to be on Sunday.
