The amount of open shots Michigan gives up is astounding. It will take an awful shooting night to not drop 100+ on them.

Bardo will have his coach of the year if Minnesota hangs on.

Looks like Colorado forgot to show up for tonight's game with Arizona.

And Colorado looked half decent coming in.

Updated B1G efficiency after tonight:

The conference picture is starting to clarify a bit, and I expect the already sizeable gap between the top and bottom of the conference to only widen as the season goes on.

A few thoughts:
- Michigan looks okay for now until you realize this is by far their easiest part of their schedule and they've already dropped 2 home games to Indiana and Minnesota (and won at Iowa). They get PSU and Maryland next, and after that it's as good as it gets for them, as they'll get a stretch of 10 Quad 1 games in a 13 game stretch, with two of the other games being at Rutgers and at Norhtwestern.
- There are already 5 teams being lapped by the field (Maryland, PSU, Rutgers, NW, Iowa), and I expect Michigan and Indiana to join them shortly when they have to play the good teams. There are very few good teams in the B1G this season, to the point that...
- Minnesota might be the 7th best team in this conference. And at the same time, not all that good. Could be Northwestern, Iowa, Indiana, Maryland or Michigan suddenly remember they're supposed to be better than this, but so far no dice.
- Based on this, this would be my conference power rankings as of right this moment:
1. Purdue - Probably the best team in the country until shown otherwise
2. Illinois - Got to split the next two games to stay here
3. Wisconsin - Has all the schedule advantages to sneak a B1G title, though, since they already won at MSU and won't have to win at Illinois.
4. Michigan State - Spotted the conference two games and should still easily finish at worst 4th.
5. Ohio State - Haven't looked particularly impressive, but solid 7-10 NCAA tournament team overall
6. Nebraska - Somebody's got to be 6th, at least they've looked solid at home.
7. Minnesota - This is not a good team, but they're way better than they looked at the start.
8. Northwestern - They're probably somewhere between "beating Purdue in OT" good and "losing by 30 to Illinois" bad. Rough early schedule, should pick up some wins later in the year, as long as they aren't demoralized by then.
9. Indiana - They can't score, but they can defend and should be better than they looked yesterday.
10. Rutgers - At least they played OSU close in Columbus.
11. Michigan - This somehow still feels too high for Michigan, but some teams have been awful.
12. Iowa - Boy they've looked bad early. They can't possibly be this bad, can they? They lost at home by 10 to an awful Michigan team.
13. Maryland - They did beat Penn State, which has to count for something.
14. Penn State - Predicted bad at the start of the year, and have mostly played the part. Somehow beat Ohio State in December.

^^^"Wisconsin - Has all the schedule advantages..."

I'd be curious to see which team had the "easiest" B10 schedule by season during the Kenpom era,,, I feel like Wisconsin might top the list most.

While I am tickled Orange seeing the Beloved at the top of this list, it gives me great joy seeing the Idiots in last place, and even greater joy to see ScUM as the only team in the B1G with a losing record.

Hey will there be any discussions during the ESPN2 game on at 4:30 today with Morez Johnson? Would that be in this thread? Probably won’t really have anything myself to say but would be cool to see what y’all have to say because I plan on at least tuning in for some of it

I was unaware of this but Morez will be on national TV today...

Rooting for Nebraska against Wisconsin and Indiana against tOSU for NET purposes.

Since we only play Wisconsin and tOSU on the road, all they have to do is stay in the top 75 for those to be quad 1 games. So we need them giving teams W's frequently so the bottom half of the B1G can look stronger in the NET.

Dickinson just got a pretty vicious elbow to the face. Sorry, not sorry. And now the network is leaving the game with a minute to go. I think this is how they sell streaming services. Force you to sign up for the free trial and hope you stick
