Oats spent over a decade as a high school coach in Michigan, 24 miles from Ann Arbor. He's from Wisconsin. Seems Michigan might be near the top of his list outside of the Blue Bloods.

I'm less into high school recruiting due to the transfer portal. Really like what guys like Terrence, Quincy, Domask bring plus veteran mature leadership. Have been turned off by Andre Miller, Epps, Skyy wanting early personnel success despite being part of overall team success. Also many players name there final "whatever" just to change it again as other schools get involved.
Was thinking if college basketball would entertain a permanent 5 year eligibility. It has increased the level of play (imho) across more teams and has made college bball less dependent on freshmen.
