We took this team to Overtime and Ohio State is getting just slapped in the face by Northwestern. Hopefully this bodes well for the talent level between the teams. But JEEZ, the Buckeyes look horrible tonight.
We also beat them by 30
Domask's shot was just inches away from getting us the win in regulation.
We shot well from three and crashed the offensive glass. OSU is doing neither.
Osu is getting beat by33 tonight. No def at all by osu. Nb thrashed them.

Announcers for the NU game just started that they have the second easiest remaining schedule according to Torvak. NU could be a serious contender for a 2/3 seed in the BIG tournament. Nothing is a given.
This is about as bad a Big Ten as I can remember. More than half the conference pretty much stinks. There are only 3 really good teams, and I don't know if there is a single really great team in all of college basketball. I think last year you could say the same, which is why we had so many upsets in the tournament. I'm guessing we'll see something similar this year.

UConn was pretty freaking good. Their closest margin of victory in the NCAA Tournament was 13 points. That's dominant.
They were certainly good, but they were also 13-7 in conference, and a 4 seed.
I personally think Dan Hurley is in the top tier of college coaches, so a great coach and talent is a good mix for tourney success. You also have to remember they benefited from some of those upsets. They got to play Arkansas instead of Kansas, their 5 seed was St Marys. They also got 5 seeds in the Final 4 and Championship games.
And I'd take that kind of luck every year!
Not quite as good as Kansas State getting a 9 seed, and then playing an 8 seed in round 1, a 16 in round 2, 5 in round 3, and 11 in round 4 (who beat them).
