Is there any chance we go to more of a fly around to try overwhelm turn you over D? Like we did when Brad first got here.

This is why I can't stand the coaching in my kiddos league.... Like, if they don't understand how to play man defense yet (spoiler alert, they don't) what are you even thinking by spending time on zone concepts? It only gets wins at that level because 9 year olds aren't going to shoot you into oblivion.

Anyone know what's going on with Tominaga? He points and minutes have been dropping off quite a bit over the last several games. Just 18 minutes and 2 points against Wisconsin

we totally agree, what a waste of money, can't stand watching a game played on it

Feel like we will need to go 9-1 to have a shot at the BIG title, including wins over Wisconsin and Purdue. Not impossible especially if we get our defensive bite back and TJ returns to form. But we have to take care of business Sunday.
We’d have to go 9-1 to give us an “excellent” shot, but that would be a 16-4 Big Ten record. We won it at 15-5 just two seasons ago. It’s fair to say that might have been an unusual case (I haven’t looked into the history), but it does seem like somewhat of a crazy year in-conference?

Definitely want to get to 16-4 to feel confident!

Underwood in his post game presser specifically said this was not zone. A different defensive look, but still man to man.

Thanks, I didn't hear that on my presser re-watch. Can you point me to where he talks about it?

Last 3 minutes of the half vs IU there are multiple possessions where hawk, goode and domask all have man responsibilities, but are also sagging off and guarding the paint with no offensive players present. They also backfill each other in the paint. It's a nice stretch for us and helped us get a cushion before half. I'll just call it post zone switching man from now on unless you or Brad have a better name.

To be honest, I find the tree design less disturbing than the strange center court tribute to their benefactor’s son. Just not the place.
