Great shooter and incredibly fun player to watch when he's hitting but he's limited at basically everything else. He's also been a bit cold and hasn't really been shooting well enough to make up for his deficiencies on the defensive end.
Williams, Wilcher, Mast, and Gary are better players. Then they even have some guys off the bench like Lawrence and Hoiberg who can play a bit, Hoiberg doesn't really score but rebounds way better than a 6 ft guard should and plays his !!! off.
Should be a fun game. Illini have the size to matchup well defensively just need to show up on that end and start playing up to their ability(think they should be a top 10 defense).
Izzo's kid might be the worst college basketball player I've ever seen. Like he doesn't look like he would have even sniffed the court in high school.I respectfully differ: that event will materialize via Izzo's son a week from today. That would be Peak Illinois. Can't imagine anything more demoralizing.
If he drops a career day on us then I may never watch another game of basketball in my life.
Shuck the fighting Hoibergs and keep this roll going
I think I would be immediately disoriented playing on that.

That guy is a legend, haha. Always looks so uncomfortable to be the most visible fan every broadcast but then will like flash a peace sign or confidently nod right at the camera, too.
