Doesn’t matter how many people are out for Maryland. If we don’t have an answer on defense for Young and Reece this time we may relive our nightmares.
The past couple weeks I begin to worry about their freshman Harris-Smith. He notched 17 tonight. Looked lost a month ago. Not so much now. VA player of the year last year.

This week's EM update:

- Purdue is pulling away in standings and EM. It's not close right now.
- Illinois is way ahead in 2nd now, for what it's worth.
- MSU and Wisconsin basically identical at this point, mostly because Wisconsin has gone on some weird 2 week bender that destroyed their efficiency numbers.
- Nebraska still a completely different team at home vs on the road. Except when they played Illinois. They have a soft closing schedule that may or may not work out well for them.
- Among the rest, Rutgers is really the only team playing competitively consistently of late.
- Michigan has effectively given up completely, and are a good 3 games shy of a chance at avoiding a day 1 BTT game.

I don't think it was an either or. Domask playing with Dennis would have been the best case scenario.
Right and I'm sure we paid much much less for Domask, probably the steal of the NIL carousel.

But then and now, Dennis is kind of exactly the player this team is missing to take it up a level. C'est la vie. Learn the lesson for the future.

Super glad Dennis did not choose IL. Our offense is elite without him and inserting him into the lineup in place of Ty Rodgers would be a death knell to this already shaky defense.
