So you're saying the most developed upperclassmen are better than freshman?

I never would have guessed. ;)

I'm giving you a hard time but we can find hundreds of 3 star recruits who never became any of the guys listed above.

I don't think anyone here thinks recruiting rankings are an exact science but history would show that landing higher rated recruits is more likely, in general, to correlate to program success.

No one here on loyalty is ever preoccupied with recruiting rankings? Sure.
I was only pointing out the current outstanding players in the conference that were not highly recruited.

I didn't say that.

I said "I don't think anyone here thinks recruiting rankings are an exact science."

You can recognize that and still be preoccupied with them. And that's because, generally, the teams with the most highly ranked recruits win more games.

And you were not only pointing them out. You followed it up with a comment about underachieving teams with great recruiting classes.

Some on this board are unwilling to secede that rankings have a correlation with NCAA success and will consistently point out outliers. It is what it is at this point. I guess they are free to believe what they want.

Miletic: kid can really stroke it. and there's more to his game than gunnery. the more clips I watch, the more I'm convinced that he's gonna be a problem at the next level. don't know if he's at the top of our board (or if we have room), but I definitely don't want him in the conference

These highlights remind me of another 6'7" lefty: Jamison Battle, of Ohio State and Minnesota.

Miletic or Alston would give us a tall lefty with a smooth shot in the 2025 class.
Battle is a good comp, but the first thought I had while watching as Toni Kukoc...

As in a good wild, adding very good players to the beloved, or, wild as in we may have some defections that we had not anticipated? Hoping it's the prior.
