And Pitino looking resplendent in all white for victory. Guess I’m an old-time cuz I like when coaches are in suits.
When St. John's hits a big 3, here's Pitino.

I mean I get your point that we need more of them, but FAU will remain Quad 1 no matter what.

Anyway, if we are even able to win out in the first place, we will need help from either MSU or Wisconsin winning in West Lafayette. Neither seems likely, but frankly neither was Nebrasketball winning in Madison in 2022 to give us the championship!
The last couple of years, Illinois hasn’t proven they can beat good (some might say elite) teams in January, February and March

Could Coleman? I think Edy will be rated ahead of him today. That will be interesting. I am doubting Purdue loses to anyone except our squad in CU.
Other than just plain paying an athlete because they are an athlete, NIL money comes from product endorsements. Some of them are painful to watch, e,g., Caitlin Clark trying to sing in a State Farm commercial. Not sure CH or Eady are that camera friendly, but I have real concerns whether either is NBA ready

Is your argument that building a team around one big colossus doesn't work in the tournament?

I don't really have an opinion either way, but it's an interesting concept
Yes, that is my opinion and I am waiting for evidence to the contrary

Most recent updated projection Bleacher Report i saw Edy is up to 34 and Coleman dropped to 57. TSJ up to 14. It worked out for TSJ coming back and could Hawkins too. The off court stuff matters as do these upcoming games and post season.

Ok, let me try this. who would you rather see on a Nike commercial? Eady, CH, or TSJ. If they had to live off on camera product endorsement $$, who is the most camera friendly, just asking.

How likely is it that the MSU win drops to a quad 2 in the next few weeks? This week was good in keeping OSU and Maryland as quad 1 wins

So O$U wins out they have 20 wins big wins against Bama Purdue and MSU

Would they get a last 4 spot

With that MSU loss. MSU has lost 2 straight and will be absolutely desperate going into Purdue next Sat.

Take care of Minnesota and Wisconsin(easier said than done the way Illini have played) and a share of the conference title might be back in the menu.
