Amazing game by MD who is likely the most unathletic, slow footed, slowest Illini to ever perform in the uniform...and maybe the smartest and most offensively skilled. That fadeaway jumper is extremely difficult to perfect, as he did tonight, against B1G defenders. Just think about it...how many others in college basketball use it so much and make that shot even close to his efficiency? My hat goes off with a deep bow to a terrific player.

TSJr. with another average performance...for a First Team All-American.....career game for most others.

Most importantly, this team might be coming to terms with being tough and performing at a high level with all the chips on the table. Every Day Guys becoming mentally focused and tough in crunch time.

Finally, many good things happening as the Illini head for a huge showdown with the Boilers. Expect every Assembly Hall seat to be filled with a body wearing orange, Go Illini!!!

I’ve said it a couple times now. Domask isn’t our best athlete or best player. But imo he’s been our most valuable player. Leads the team in points, rebounds, and assists. How did this guy spend 4 years in the Valley??

Having both TSJ and Marcus is such a cheat code. Other than Edey, in the conference, we have arguably the most versatile half-court offensive player in Marcus and inarguably the best player in transition in TSJ. Couple that with a bunch of guys that can get baskets and it's just so hard to stop us offensively.
