Interesting final pictures before going back to the panel. First, the Eady smirk at 6’ Holloway and then the Lauer with the finger to lips, be quiet gesture.
Sorry about the mis spelled names, sort of

Second half just started, but TN is currently losing by double digits. Not sure if them losing would really have any effect on our chances of moving up to a 3 seed. But I always love a good upset (unless Illinois is being upset).
No impact at all. It just removes Tennessee from contention for a 1 seed. They will be locked in as a 2 seed now.

Did anyone watch the end of the Purdue game? I was surprised they took away MSU’s layup basket at the end. Normally the clock on tv is synched up with the light on the basket. But this time the light went off with .2 left on the clock. The basket didn’t matter but it makes you wonder if it really does sometime.

Weber thrilled Purdue won.
I've certainly lobbed my share of criticism at Bruce Weber over the years, but can anyone really fault him for feeling that way? I get he's media and has to be objective in his analysis, but he spent 20 years at Purdue. I would imagine that out of all of these teams in the tournament, the two teams he has the most emotional attachment to are Purdue and Illinois.

Obviously a much different and less vislble arena, but I did the radio play by play for football and basketball for my son's high school for many years. Two of those years, my son played on the JV. While I did my best to recognize all good plays, be fair in my calls, and not be an overt homer, it was undoubtable that I wanted our high school team to win at the end of the day and that my work reflected that. It's just human nature.

This is a fun game. There are enough potential nominees to have a first and second team. Juwan can coach one and Willard can coach the other.
Reese is a unanimous pick of Illini players, coaches, media and fans. Consensus All-D-Bag.

It's not punchable because it's too high to reach
Well, it will be when we're on the ladder cutting down the nets on Sunday. ;)
