Whew , my face was flushed the entire second half until the final buzzer and I'm finally regaining a normal breathing rate.......this was a game with numerous ups and downs and it looked like we might bite the bullet when we went down by 10 points about midway through the second half........Then along came Dain Dainja...........He gets the game ball if I have anything to do with it......

TSJ with a very good game especially hitting his FT's.......
Ty had a double double..........
Dain with his best Illini game and hoping he continues to get the minutes to show his mettle........
Cohawk with a less than average game from him until the last 2-3 minutes , then he came through with numerous offensive rebounds....
Doc Domask with his worst game in a long long time, but he will rebound back tomorrow with his usual great play.......
QG with a not so memorable game .......period.......
Goode hit a 3 with we really needed it ...........................
Harmon is in a funk....nothing else to say...........

love Dain. dude has been riding the bench for no reason, and really shined when the opportunity came up. Hope he gets more touches in the big dance and during the rest of the btt
That is not true. His defense was very poor and hurt us. He has really stepped up his defensive game and that has kept him on the court as of late.

This was only our 2nd game in 10 days after playing a bunch of conference games close together, I imagine that had something to do with the team being flat tonight. Pair that with a much improved Ohio State squad and I'm pleasantly surprised they gutted this game out.

This cannot be understated. Ty was freaking incredible tonight. Was by far our best defender tonight, was incredible on the boards winning several he had absolutely no business getting, and then being a bucket getter when nobody else wanted to shoot. That Ty we saw tonight is that supporting cast player that is a reason your team goes deep in the tourney. Played like The Reverend tonight. We're going to need that.
Word. Ty is all about winning as we all know. Lucky to have him.

I honestly felt bad for them. They played their hearts out and this one was there for the taking. Win it and they were likely 1 win away from the tourney if that. That's a game that will sit with you awhile
I'm with you on this one. There have been plenty of OSU teams in the past that were really easy to hate. This team is not one of them. It cannot be easy to lose your coach during the season. I commend them for what they were able to accomplish.

I appreciate my girlfriend more and more everyday. She just sits through my b***ching and moaning until we win, then I do a 180. I might have to put the down payment down on that ring now!
Was gonna like this post, but since I love it, I replied: she sounds like the one. I know my Orange Krush wifey is the prize of my life. If you can survive the ups and downs of collegiate basketball, I guess you can survive life together :)

I also think part of us looking flat was OSU just playing well. They played really physically on both ends and completely took away the booty ball.
