Talk about "trusting the process"!
I think he added 5 transfers and none of them had much of an impact. Also saw they had 5 players (but 1 was walk-on) have in-season surgeries. Has a heck of a HS class coming in according to rankings. Will be interesting to see Gates can get it turned around relatively quick.

Doesn’t he have a five star point guard already committed for next year?

Honestly, who wouldn't want to come in and be a starting guard for us next year? The development and ability of Underwood to help get the best out of Ayo, Shannon, Hawkins, Domask, Trent, Feliz, etc... is becoming too long to deny. If you're willing to be pushed, given keys to run the offense, a coach that will adapt (even if too slowly for me sometimes)... Oh and we have great NLI, we play in one of the most visible leagues in college basketball, and we have some of the best crowds..

And we have the best strength and conditioning coaches and facilities in the nation…

As far as why anyone would go there it's all about the $$$$, they have the most in the BIG to spend and they will try. I don't think that will matter one bit though, because to me, it's the coach and his inability to build a roster with all the pieces needed. You can bring in 5 of the best players in the nation, that doesn't mean they will play well together.......Kentucky has proven this for years. My guess is he brings in some big names to quiet the fans, but it will still be a poorly constructed team, and he will be gone after next year.
Yup they have the most NIL in the Big10 and yet it means nothing

Find some high school video of Amani. He was described as a point center because of his post play plus good dribbling, passing, and shooting skills.
Yep. No fair to compare a senior to a freshman.

A lot of players people have been posting look good to me already, so I'm guessing we are are really gonna be going after the ELITE Dawgs and I can't wait till after our final four run to start hearing about these players.

Are they holding on to their incoming recruits....I believe they were top 10
a team paying for freshmen who may or may not see the court or be effective their first year also
turns the upper classmen off. this is a dangerous tactic. pay the proven.
