Does Terry get the interim tag off? I'd be surprised. He makes some questionable decisions/non-decisions on the floor.

My bad. You're right. They took interim tag off last year
Does that make it more likely for the former DC to take a non recruiting role if a certain big man is available?Chester started doing a lot more / took over a few games back ...
Meh.May to michigan. 4 mediocre seasons then 2 very good ones. Shows he actually built it. There was absolutely nothing before him. How often do we see coaches have successful 2 or 3 year runs at a mid major that was already chugging along before they were hc, then fall flat in their big time gig? I don’t know but i think a lot.
To those thinking this is a meh hire, I think you might be re-evaluating in the next couple years. May is a great hire in my opinion, and can have Michigan consistently near the top (unfortunately).
I really don’t see dutcher leaving sdsu. He’s a guy that took what someone else built and has maintained it, arguably improved it, but really so far kept it the same except for a great tourney run last year. If they go deep again this year who knows. Money talks and I think gets 2.2mm a year. That’s easy for a big time school to offer a substantial raise… so in writing this I went from ‘no’ to ‘possibly’.
when self came to Illinois the program was already positioned for success because of Lon Kruger and his recruits, but was able to do even better… then came along Bruce Weber to a program very well positioned for success. And then…
Are Tyler and Hamer recruiting? I thought we had 5 assistants, but still only 3 recruitering assistants. Maybe not.Does that make it more likely for the former DC to take a non recruiting role if a certain big man is available?

Hard to believe they hire him not all that long after firing Rick. Feels like they wouldn’t go back there this soon.100% ... I literally talked with an assistant today who said he was going to Louisville with May ...
Now Louisville has to pivot ... Will Wade ... Your table is ready ... (No, I don't think Louisville does this but they should ...)

They will certainly be better coached than u day Howard, but will not be coaching the same level of kid.Michigan May be better coached now
Shaheen Holloway of Seton Hall has been mentioned. How does Louisville respond now? This has to be a blow to their perceived position in the college basketball hierarchy.

Idk. I don’t mind May. He could be overrated.Damn. That’s not good for us…
I’m not sure you can say Dutcher “took what someone else built”. He was Steve Fischer’s Associate Head Coach for nearly twenty years. He has helped build it from the ground up.May to michigan. 4 mediocre seasons then 2 very good ones. Shows he actually built it. There was absolutely nothing before him. How often do we see coaches have successful 2 or 3 year runs at a mid major that was already chugging along before they were hc, become the new sensation, then fall flat in their big time gig? I don’t know but i think a lot.

$4 shots is a promotion ?Lexington’s oldest bar calling for Kentucky to fire John Calipari with drink promotion
It’s open season on John Calipari.nypost.com
Like?Sprinkle no longer a lock to Washington ... Good chance he could still wind up there ... But no longer a 100% lock ...
But with no AD ... Things are getting more interesting and Sprinkle's people are advising him to look elsewhere ...
If Kyle Smith moves on, I have to believe Sprinkle would be considered for WSU Not sure what they’ll be paying now that affiliated with WCC, but I believe he’s born/from Pullman.Like?
Law firmI just explained to my wife the coaches with the last names of Tinkle, Sprinkle, and Tang.
She said that sounded like a really bad comedy troupe.
WVU = Darian DeVries ... They have targeting him for a while now ... He has been their guy ...
