Game Thread: Illinois vs Iowa State

[biglug58]

Basketball gods smiling on us so far. Nice to see!

[Leelnd]

Ty was shoved in the back too...

[IlliniKat91]

Is the ball.....alive?? Like.....a living basketball doing.....what it wants?

I'm having flashes of the scene from Angels in the Outfield when the Angels mess with the ball.

I'd honestly be okay with that.

[DICKnaggie]

I'll keep saying it: get to the paint. We can foul these guys out. Attack, attack, attack. TSJ cannot get caught up on contested 3's.

Iowa state fouls the !!!! out of us on every possession. Clear foul on TJ and Ty back to back.

Refs. What are you worried about, your up by ten!

[HereSoIDontGetFined]

That Rodgers bucket might be the wildest shot I've ever seen in a live game.

Hard to believe we're up this much with the refs screwing us this hard

And they also flop all over the place. For a team that is supposed to be tough I don’t see a lot of it.

This pace is actually in Iowa St's favor but our defense has been really good which I don't think any of us expected. Taking their game right to them

[Thompson]

We should be up 20+ right now

This is our game to lose

Fouls are relatively even. I wouldn't call it being screwed.

Their "they can't call everything" theory is definitely on display tonight.

Please please do a couple domask back downs to force the double and pass out

[1970 John]

ISU coach shirts look like they’re wearing sweat pads.

[IlliniKat91]

Pass out for a drive and followed by an and 1, please

[IlliniKat91]

Just like that, thanks!

[azillini1]

52% from the field for us and 30% for them. I thought I heard pregame no team has shot 50% for the game vs Iowa State. Let's keep it going by driving more to the basket

[cs04]

Hell yeah passing!

[Zorak]

Beautiful passing out of the double team, textbook

[LoveLovie]

Let’s go!! That trap has got us ONE time, that’s it

[so illini]

Our defense!!

[altgeld88]

Shredding the trap

[cs04]

I love point Coleman

[aaeismacgychel]

TY FREAKIN RODGERS!

[KingWolf11]

The amount of guys we have that can affect the game without scoring is something we've never had before

[BuckDitkis]

Pass out for a drive and followed by an and 1, please
