I guess Trilly was correct and wasn't just throwing things at the wall to see what sticks.

If Oats is staying and Drew said no we are quickly going to start getting real nervous
On the flip side, if Alabama Basketball can fend off Kentucky, than maybe Illinois Basketball can, too. IF we could match Kentucky's offer, I would not assume Brad leaves. He might, but it's not a no-brainer. He has a good situation here.

Mark Pope from BYU could be a darkhorse candidate for the Kentucky job.

I truly think that UK comes down to Brad and Sean … Dark horse that no one’s talking about: Todd Golden …

I think Drew stays at Baylor … I really do … Drew’s all like PRIVATE schools …

And I think Billy stays in the NBA …
Do you think Kentucky fans would be happier with Sean? Sort of seems they want more. I would think they would see Brad as very underwhelming.. even though we know he is an ELITE coach.

Not at all where I thought we would be, but in some ways this is pretty complimentary. UK took two assistants and we reloaded. Now they could have interest in our coach too? We are doing something right and honestly if Sean would be the next guy, that’s not a downgrade by any means….that being said… I want Brad to stay.

Yeah, Scott Drew just seems all wrong for Kentucky. He’s turned down big jobs before..and not left.

I like that Arkansas and Kentucky have both publicly whiffed. Lol

Apparently it isn’t gonna happen but I think Beard & Musselman would have been scariest (in this era) with Kentucky resources. JMO
