You’re definitely dropping, what are your thoughts of Buzz Peterson leaving a football school for a basketball school? Seems like he has some personality. Is he of that caliber?

Shaka at UK? Don’t see that working either.

Any chance they could pry Sampson from Houston? Houston seems like such a good fit for him but UK is about the only college job I could see him leaving for. If I’m Mitch and Oats/Drew shoot me down he’s in my next tier of calls with Brad and Sean.

I think since everyone can pay players legally now it’s lost its secret weapon. Now they lose a coach who was basically an NBA factory and as a coach you have to go in and deal with the most delusional and entitled fans on the planet. I think they’re going to end up with someone with Kentucky ties, like Pope.

There’s no way Musselman could finagle out of his contract, right? I’m guessing he would have been interested in Kentucky if it weren’t for the timing?

He’s splashy enough, has an NBA family pedigree …and is proven in the era of NIL.
That would have been hilarious too. Because it would have just been a flip flop of coaches between Ark. & Kentucky. Lol

How about Mark Few?

I get the feeling he’d be another Scott Drew type situation. He’s got it too good where he is I would imagine.

Underrated as hell. But he’s getting up there & he’d be a fool to go there at this juncture undoubtedly. It would be funny to see the fan reaction.
