Some guys seem to get better with age. Porter Moser comes to mind. The Big East was a really good conference this year and Marquette was right there at the top. So he's shown he can compete with real teams in real conferences. Kentucky won't hire him. After thinking about it some more, I think he'd do a lot better than I initially thought. Next year will be a test for Shaka at Marquette.

If he were Miller's age I think he'd be the clear choice. The more I think about it, the more I think Shaka Smart would do well there.
After Shaka's experience at Texas, my guess is he's just fine at Marquette. I'm sure he still has flashbacks to his time at Texas and they aren't fond. Maybe he doesn't make as much money at Marquette as he would at Kentucky, but I'm sure his level of stress and quality of life will be exponentially better staying in Milwaukee.

As a Wizards fan, I think about the fact that I'm in my 40s and have never seen my team make an Eastern Conference Finals or even win 50 games in a season and laugh about you Bulls fans endlessly complaining. You had the '90s. You had the greatest player in his prime, as opposed to when he was a corpse. It's gonna take you many more years before you really know what pain is.
Oh believe me I consider myself very lucky to be a Bulls fan and know others have it worse.

But the Bulls are currently being badly mismanaged, and its a fact that keeping or changing the coach is absolutely 100% irrelevant to the direction of the fortunes of the team.

Coaches have always been limited in how much they can affect things in the NBA, and it seems like it’s that way today more than ever before.
As a fan a both of a "fallen giant" (Cowboys) and a til recently snakebitten franchise (Texas Rangers, just realized the irony of my wording), I definitely see both of y'all's points. It definitely harder for fans "never won much" teams especially those title-less teams but the rooting for a "fallen giant" can be much more aggravating.

I don't understand why these accounts do that. I mean, I do....they want clicks. But there's literally no humor in that post and people are going to run with it b/c it looks legit. I don't get it.
New world we live in. Anything for a click. And since many of these sites reward traffic with $$$, idiots gonna idiot because it's way easier than creating something with ANY real value. You see any of the dumb $#!+ posted on Quora or Reddit?
