Agreed. Also, if Coleman decides to come back to college I have a hard time seeing the logic in going elsewhere. Brad & Tyler undoubtedly improved his draft stock this year and going to an entirely new system with a new staff would be a massive gamble & mistake IMOColeman isn’t looking to leave by entering the portal, it just allows him to get paid more IF he comes back to college. Everyone should chill, I highly doubt he plays for another team… he’s just smart.

Well there are a few Jones's (possibly) going into the portal now, so we are going to have to start being more specific.Sounds like a no there.

LOLHopkins takes over the #1 portal spot, surely.

How's his knee doing?Honestly - going to disagree here ... I think that the way we played didn't allow Coleman to show off his defensive versatility ...
That frustrated him this season ... It wasn't a secret ...
Pretty sure the entire team was shown to have major defensive weaknesses throughout most the season, so no surprise here at all that Coleman would be frustrated! His strengths could never come through.Honestly - going to disagree here ... I think that the way we played didn't allow Coleman to show off his defensive versatility ... It showed his weakness more than it did his strengths ...

So we must get a 5 so he can play the 4 and maximize his potential, if not he's got optionsHonestly - going to disagree here ... I think that the way we played didn't allow Coleman to show off his defensive versatility ... It showed his weakness more than it did his strengths ...

Peak Trollman Hawkins move. I still can't imagine him playing for another college team. I'll worry if and when he actually transfers.
Agreed with this. Think getting a true 5 makes coming back way more appealing to him..
Do you stand strong in your previous opinion re Coleman and Illini or nothing when it comes to college?
I completely agree. It was more tongue and cheek about how poor some of the defensive game plans were. Never doubted Coleman's abilities at all, but can see why his strengths did not show through and why he would be frustrated. Him diving on the floor in the tourney is a highlight I will always remember.Coleman is an elite defender ... That's arguably the skill the NBA is after the most ... He can switch onto guards ...
