I don't think Goode is truly comparable in the fact that he already graduated. Attending IU is also getting him scholarship to their prestigious business school for MBA.
I view him much more like a grad transfer, and I can't fault him in the slightest. From the long-term financial perspective, Goode is making the correct decision in every way by leaving Champaign. It will obviously feel weird seeing him play for the enemy, but I am happy that he gets to fulfill his childhood dream and get a great MBA as well.
Now never to speak good of IU ever again!
