Basketball Gods, if you can hear me.....please give us some updates or something to actually talk about. That said, it seems like portal movement will considerably slow down until early entrants must withdrawal from the draft on June 16th.

On a basketball note, super happy for Nico. It seems like he has found a very good landing spot.

Price on Kasparas Jakucionis is about $1m right now.

If it goes much higher it could be a problem, but right now he's in Illinois' wheel house.
Crazy how when news first broke that Storr was asking for a million, it sounded like a stupid high price. And now it sounds like a million+ is the going rate for a starting / all conference type shooting guard.

Anyone out there wanting to get in a bidding war for him? Or can we lock this up?

I don't think we can assume a guy that has never played college basketball is going to be an All Conference player. With scarcity, prices never go down. So guys that aren't as good, could very well end up with more money than better players that signed early. So are we going to see guys try to renegotiate?

How about we make him an offer that he can’t refuse?……

still should have paid 1 million+ for 2nd team B1G - sure looks like Illinois is going to overpay for SG/CG/Wing
