Yes, a moron who builds and launches rockets. The reason is that a moron bought and then broke the platform.

The problem is that isn't what he is doing. As other posters have said--he's still censoring, just different viewpoints.Misinformation = "Things I don't agree with or want other people to hear."
Eye of the beholder. Slippery slope to wielding censorship as a political weapon.
Who gets to decide what's real and what isn't? You? Me? "Experts" who are human and can be wrong and / or dishonest like everyone else?
It's best to put it all out there and let people sort it out for themselves.
Seriously. I hate when people have to insert politics into every aspect of their lives. We're here to get away from it. For those masochists who love the Kabuki Theater that is left/right politics, you're in for a treat this year so please save your energy. Can we please not turn this thread into a conservative vs liberal debate over Twitter and Elon Musk please? Thanks.
It’s not ironic that I just don’t want an electric car.It is highly ironic that those defending Musk's actions with relation to X/Twitter would likely never buy a vehicle from the company that makes up roughly half of Musk's net worth.
I do not agree with the bolded. What is and isn't is exactly that. A fact is a fact is a fact. And so on.Misinformation = "Things I don't agree with or want other people to hear."

Id call it the RayJ effect...off by 50%. beyond $, we don't have an in. I think we decided that its too risky to put all our eggs in one basket. by the time we find out, it's too late to pivot, at least well
Nah, the government should regulate what's true and false. /sMisinformation = "Things I don't agree with or want other people to hear."

To be fair, we aren't talking about the U.S. government, we are talking about a private company.Nah, the government should regulate what's true and false. /s

This is very true but needs some context. In terms of activity, X is still lightyears behind peers in global activity. An app that is slated for ban in the US has nearly quadruple the active users that X does. To be fair to Elon, Twitter lagged the peers substantially when he overpaid for the platform. Still, there has not been a large increase in US users since he took over (growth has been driven from international users). Truth is that X/Twitter is relatively small in terms of social media.I'm guessing some people don't like Elon Musk and call him names because he now allows opinions that they don't like.
In terms of the usefulness of the platform, it has more activity than ever, so....
I dunno which website youre using but my experience has been 30% less interesting people, the same censorship just to own the libs now and 2000% more pornbots, trolls & nazis. So less idiots? Less censoring? Less people spending all their time and taking it way too seriously? If Elon Musk is an idiot then I wanna be one too
JFC this thread went downhill quickly. Keep the hot takes about your political opinion to yourselves, insiders included.
That's part of the hype I was referring to.2nd team all big 10 is more than hype / potential

Economics…supply side inflation now in playCrazy how when news first broke that Storr was asking for a million, it sounded like a stupid high price. And now it sounds like a million+ is the going rate for a starting / all conference type shooting guard.
In what world does it have more activity than ever?I'm guessing some people don't like Elon Musk and call him names because he now allows opinions that they don't like.

I haven't seen any political opinions expressed. Just opinions on the X platform.
