Wish they would lock on to 6'4' PG Nolan Traore who plays for France. But he has a 2-year contract and may already be ready to be another high '25 draft pick.Makes sense that they have pivoted onto Boozer..
Traore will be a Top 10 (maybe even Top 5) in 2025. He won't be going to school.Wish they would lock on to 6'4' PG Nolan Traore who plays for France. But he has a 2-year contract and may already be ready to be another high '25 draft pick.
Not Canadian enough to replace Riley. Hard pass.Would be a great replacement for Riley and complement Illini returnees.

Are you suggesting it is time that we drop the Hammer?
It's like Tinder, but adjusted for basketball.Well sure, but is he even worth it if he isn't a full 7 feet tall?

#59 on the 247.
Remained #41 in the composite...better than I thought.
Also, #55 on On3.
#71 on On3 industry (this is no surprise - Riley fell to #30 in this one - they aren't reclass friendly)
Regardless of rankings, feels pretty concludeable that not reclassing would've been best for his game.
There's a chance he might've gotten KJ level $$ so from a $$ standpoint, it probably makes sense. But that "if he has a big year" - that's a pretty big "if." Trend doesn't suggest that guys similar who reclass have that great success...particularly as freshman.all depends on how you look at it. he's going to be ~$500K (pure guess) ahead compared to staying in HS. if he has a big year, he's setting himself up well for year 2. once kids start college, rankings don't matter much

Hey, I do what I can.Illinois dream school because of grandpa. Nice hearing that.
I agree with you- in today’s system I don’t blame the players at all for reclassifying to get paid a year early and get in a college program, even if it means you stay in college 2-3 years instead of one, it’s probably worth it for most kidsHe needs a year of development. Where are you going to develop more, as a HS senior or at a major college program? And getting paid to do that? Major bonus especially for a player who doesn't plan on being in college for 4 years anyway.
