What about Scottie Adkinson from Webster Groves, Missouri high school? I heard Mizzou and Illinois have offered him but I also heard that he likes Illinois better. I know one of his school coaches when he played at Marion and he said that he was a great kid and couldn’t say enough good things about him, and wished Marion still had him, obviously. Coach said he is a hard charging to the rim smart guard.

You can take this a couple of ways with the first being that if he's not worth 1M(these days), is he a high caliber player?

OR if he blows up into a tier 1 player, does he want 1M and go somewhere else?

OR, why bother at all and get a plug and play transfer?

Either way, you're paying the money.

The portal has changed everything. Unless the player is a five star talent....how far down the prep road do you really want to go?

I believe I seen his father say in an interview that Brandon Lee was 6’5 but have no idea if his dad was stretching it? Maybe Indy Illini Fan could give us the most accurate height?

Back in late August you said that Lee and Ahrens were a done deal, any info on Ahrens that's new? Nice call on Lee btw, everyone likes to point out when you guys are wrong but rarely mention when you get it right. At this point, does he even want to come here with 4 stars out the @$$? Wouldn't blame him for heading somewhere with guaranteed PT, but you can't buy a championship with NIL (okay, you might be able to now).
